Context
Sekoia.io is a cybersecurity platform providing real-time threat intelligence and operational security tools designed specifically for B2B clients, including corporations, institutions, and security teams. Because of the nature of their business and audience, the brand needed to convey professionalism, trust and technical expertise at every touchpoint.
A key challenge was that their existing color palette was visually similar to a major competitor, SentinelOne. Rather than completely discarding their visual foundation, the goal was to refine and differentiate it ensuring a unique and credible brand presence in a competitive market.
Approach
I worked directly with Sekoia’s Head of Marketing to evolve and refine the brand’s visual guidelines. My mission was to ensure the company’s identity was clearly and consistently communicated across all key channels from their website and LinkedIn presence to internal print materials and external marketing documents.
My approach started with expanding the secondary color palette and diversifying how brand visuals could be applied while keeping the primary purple tone as the brand’s visual anchor. I also developed a set of circular gradient rings, which have become a signature element of Sekoia.io’s visual identity. These were designed to enhance recognition and create consistency across formats.
To modernize the platform’s presence, I introduced 3D visuals in advertising assets and redesigned key product imagery. Alongside that, I built a library of graphic elements and brand visuals to support future communication needs.
In short, my work revolved around building a flexible yet consistent visual system across:
